Lunchtime

Just finished lunch not too long ago. I have been thinking lately that I really should learn how to cook. I can do a few things in the kitchen, but not much. I've been watching a lot of cooking shows lately, but most of the stuff they made I couldn't eat. I can make a burger or a scrambled egg, but not much more than that. I just cooked up some ground turkey and put in on a hot dog bun with some pizza sauce and shoved it in the microwave. I was at the store the other day and at one point found myself in the aisle with all the pots and pans. Why do they have to cost so much? And why was I looking anyway? Its not like I need my own pans to do my own cooking. I guess. I don't know.

I got to go work on a project I have been thinking of doing for my best friend, now that I can play with video on my computer. Its her birthday(happy b-day to the best friend I ever had!) and I promised her something, even though I probably won't see her until tomorrow. I also promised her a dvd with a slideshow of all the pictures I have of her and her little ones, and it will be finished as soon as she gets me the other pictures she promised me so I can get them on here and in the order I would want to put them in for the show.

I should be setting at my drawing table. And I have been thinking of how I could set up a new table/desk type thing that I could put all the entertainment stuff and computer stuff on and at the other end of the room. One problem is fitting it around the window. The other problem, with so much stuff to plug in, there is no outlet in the corner on the one wall where I would need one. So my plans and ideas for that keep changing. For now everything is lined up along this one wall, along with my desk and shelves that hold my blade collection and the shelves that hold my drawing books and things. And with the bed and the recliner in here, there really isn't much room.
